Program Description

In light of President Aoun’s Call to Action, the Office of the Provost invites you to engage in frank conversations about how to effectively increase diversity at Northeastern University. Northeastern University’s Office of the Provost hosts this forum to build upon momentum across the global university system as we take action to improve diversity in the faculty ranks. These forums are offered annually and cover a range of topics related to best practices in recruitment and retention. Search committees are strongly encouraged to attend these meetings in addition to a STRIDE workshop. While STRIDE focuses on evidence-based strategies to mitigate unconscious bias in the faculty search process, these forums focus on Northeastern-specific goals and best practices.
